Missoula Children’s Theatre
Since 2011, Karyn has sponsored and coordinated the Missoula Children’s Theatre week at Hunsberger Elementary. This amazing program aids in the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts. All aspects of live theater are brought to the school for one week. This phenomenal experience culminates in the production of a live musical. In 2015, over 500 audience members watched 54 children perform Aladdin. The event was free and open to the public. The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
This is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease. HRC President and Founder Karyn Jensen started the team in 2004. She volunteered for several years as team co-captain for Jensen Precast Team Deanna. The team walks in honor of her mother-in-law Deanna Jensen, her father, and the many others who have lost their lives to or have lost loved ones to cancer. In 2011 the team placed first out of 90 teams and raised over $17,500! Please visit their website for information on future Relays:
